Healthy & Unhealthy food- Spin and cover Activity

To plan an activity to promote healthy eating
Healthy and unhealthy food Spin and cover is fun way to identify healthy and unhealthy food and a great way for children to practice sorting skills.   You can encourage children to try new food using a variety of techniques. A great method to introduce and explore new meals with children in a fun way is to sort healthy and harmful foods through play. This Healthy and Unhealthy spin and cover Activity Pack is one of them.

What’s inside the Healthy and Unhealthy eating Spin and cover Activity?
Healthy and unhealthy food Spin and cover activity suit children of all ages. So it doesn't matter if you’re teaching toddlers, preschoolers, or older children. There’s something for everyone inside. You will find the following things in the pack:
Planning sheet:
The Healthy and unhealthy food Spin and cover activity pack includes a plan to guide you on how to start the activity and use the flashcards to introduce healthy and unhealthy, four spin and cover activity mat to use with a group of children, and an evidence worksheet for each child to record their understanding.

Flashcards:
These flashcards are great to use on their own as well. A flashcard of healthy and unhealthy foods will let children learn the names of some common foods. This is one way to introduce a new food through play.

Spin and cover activity mats, different food pictures and emotional faces:
There are four spin and cover activity mats, which is a fun way to identify healthy and unhealthy foods. Provide your children with the spin and cover activity mat and cut out different food pictures and emotion faces, and then explain how the task must be done (cut out the pictures). This activity mat can be used as a group activity or an individual activity.

Evidence activity Worksheet:
Evidence worksheet will help to record the understanding of the concepts of healthy and unhealthy eating. If you want to use your worksheet longer, laminate it and use it again and again. I have shared two activity sheets, one in colour and one in black and white. This worksheet can be useful if you’re teaching your child the names of the food or even colors and shapes. There are so many ways to use this healthy and unhealthy food worksheet. So, go ahead, and do it! Your download is waiting for YOU!
